1. Add butter and sugar to a stand mixer. Beat on high for 10–15 minutes until pale and fluffy.
2. While mixing, butter and flour your cake pan.
3. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
5. Add fresh orange juice and mix well.
6. Add flour and baking powder, mixing gently.
7. Add milk and mix briefly.
8. Mix on high for 10 seconds until smooth.
9. Pour batter into prepared pan.
10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
11. Cool, slice, and enjoy.
