Fatal Alliances: The Update We’ve All Wanted

Hi friends! Have you read all the bonus chapters and bonus POV chapters thus far? If you think it can’t get better, you’re wrong. Oh yes, I’m working on something super exciting for you regarding Fatal Alliances. Wanna know what it is?

ps: I think you’ll really like this update..

Fatal Alliances is currently being drafted into a paperback & hardcover novel!

And you’re not just getting one book, but TWO.

I’ve decided to take the indie route for this project only because I want to keep all the creative rights for this story as well as have YOU be a part of the publication process.

I’m sharing this news with you in advance because this story would not be on the pedestal it is on if it wasn’t for you. You’re a part of it’s story and I’d continue to appreciate the feedback.

So let me know!

Question 1: What would you like to see more in the published novels?

Question 2: What cover design do you think is fitting for this novel?

Now here are some interesting facts about the soon-to-be-published novel!

  • It’s going to be a duology
Yes, you heard that right. And it’s going to be amazing. It will obviously be the same storyline- just refreshingly… better.
  • From YA to Adult
I think this one might be self-explanatory. lol
  • Possibly a dual POV
I haven’t finalized the decision on this one yet, but do let me know if a dual POV is what you’d like!

Consider this book as my love letter to you
Fatal Alliances is that one novel that will always be closest to my heart. And, I want to do it justice. For me, and for all the readers who gave it a place in their hearts. I wrote that book when I was 17/18 years old. I’m 27 now, so my writing style changed and improved a lot. Also, I’m eager to make our dearest Juliet Greene much more relatable and understandable. So, with all that said, I believe this edit will be worth it.

I’ll definitely keep you updated!

Here’s a snippet of The Saints Have Fallen!
If you like enemies to lovers & dark fantasy romance, then you’d love this one!

I turned my head to look at the sky on the left, “She deserves to know the truth, Mathias.” I wanted to say the words ‘about us’ but ‘us’ seemed a strange word to say. It was always I. There was no room in my life and comprehension for the inclusion of anyone else. Especially not a- a spouse. The thought of it irked me. It pissed me the f**k off the longer I dwelled on it. Hells, I would rather be skinned alive and bathed in sh*t than have a wife.

“Yuri!” the shrill of her voice rang through the air. Twisting towards me. Though she screamed my name, it wasn’t as deep or alarming as she would have liked. Her stomping footsteps neared the door when she pushed it open. There she was before me. Muddied and tousled raven-coloured hair. She quickly looked around and brought her eyes back to me. Mathias had hidden himself from her view.

“I’m staying.” She firmed with a serious face. Or at least I think she was trying to be. Her pinkened nose scuffled up as she stalked toward me. With a finger, she jabbed it into my chest. She was quite a short and tiny thing I observed. “If you try and pull what you did to me back there again,” she warned, “I promise I will shave all your hair off until you are shiny bald. And no, I’m not staying because I need your help. I don’t need you or anything from you. I will do this on my own. I have faith and hope that-”

Was she beautiful? Maybe if she was a little quieter right now, she might be.

She sucked in a sharp breath under gritted teeth and stepped back, “Are you even listening to me?”

I tilted my head and squinted my eyes a bit. She was somewhat pleasing to the eyes if you squinted.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Because you smell like a fowl out of a cow’s a*s. Go take a bath.”

Her eyes widened slightly, and she parted her lips slowly, shaking her head, “You’re sick.”

I half expected her to continue with a lecture but instead, she just walked out and slammed the door behind her.

“She’s upset” Mathias spoke and came back into view.

“Oh, you think so? I couldn’t tell.” I grinned at my brother. It quickly faded within seconds, “She’s been looking for answers. How long are you planning to torture her with none?”

He sighed, “I can’t- I-”

I snapped my head in his direction, “Oh you will brother, because I don’t plan to.”

But if you’re into the fked up ‘i can fix him’ drop-dead-gorgeous kind of man, then try my other completed novel OPHELIA.

Here’s a little teaser of my newest psychological romance thriller. If you liked Fatal Alliances & Damned, you’d love this. (However, do be mindful of the trigger warnings- it’s very unhinged).

The roof was wetter than she was tonight. Heavy raindrops pounded on, turning into a storm of desire and frustration. He was gone longer than she’d expected. Not a single call. The past few days with these unwanted guests in her house made her uneasy to say the least. Yet, wanted by her husband. Who the hell told him he could make a decision like that without her? God, he frustrated the shit out of her. God, did she love him anyway.

Elizabeth twirled her wedding ring around her delicate finger and shifted restlessly on the empty bed. The feeling of loneliness crept up between her legs. She shifted again. The nerve that man had to leave her here like this for days. She was thirsty. Really thirsty. The bottles at the bedside table had all been drained from earlier today. She hated cramps with a passion. She hated when he wasn’t around her when she felt like this.

Deciding to refill the water mug, she pushed herself off the bed and threw over a white shirt of her husband’s. This was the closest she felt to him in days, somehow it warmed her heart. Brushing her fingertips over the assortment of his cologne, she opted for her favourite. Musky. Dark. Sensual. Charming. Everything she’d describe Sebastian Lockwick to be.

The lights of the hall had been buried in darkness, yet the moonlight fought through the windows which luminated the moon-crest sloped staircase. The warm soles of her feet licked the icy marble beneath her as she made her way into the kitchen. Her eyes burned from the lack of sleep and worry. Men.

The sound of the ice maker suddenly startled her, causing her to spill the water she was pouring into a glass. “Shit.” As she pressed the rim of the glass to her lips, the sound of a hushed door closing grasped her attention. 11:55pm. Who could have been down here so late? Was someone breaking in? Surely, she could have handled the situation herself. Grabbing a hold on the nearest knife at the counter, she carefully trailed towards the sound.

A blanket of silence fell upon her at the sight of her husband drenched in blood, white shirt now wine, the tang of metallic red sin caressed her nose, his hair soaked in thick salted sweat and blood that slicked to his forehead. His eyes, however, reflected from the moonlight in its majestic silver blue. Elizabeth frowned deeply as he stalked towards her and stood inches apart.

“Well, you’re bloody late.” She broke the silence, annoyed.

Sebastian gave out a low chuckle, astonished at his wife’s dry humor, “A pun? Really?”

“How dare you leave me here like this,” she softly raged, bringing the knife up to his throat, “How fking dare you.”

“Love,” he cooed into her left ear, and pulled her tenderly by the waist, clasping the spaces between them. “I missed you too.”

“Are you forgetting the knife in my hand, Sebastian?” She warned.

“Go ahead, stab me.”

Sighing, she dropped it and wrapped her arms around his red moist neck. Swiftly, scooping her into his arms and perching her upon the kitchen’s island. “I should get cleaned up,” he suggested, “I don’t want you getting ill.”

“No, no. I’m not waiting anymore,” Elizabeth breathed shortly, locked her legs around him. Pressing her lips onto his, she’d slip her tongue in through smiles. He tasted like blood and vodka. Whose blood was this? She hadn’t even known. His hands travelled along her naked legs, as she moaned into him. Up. Up. Pulling away slightly, she kept an arm’s length, breathed, and slapped him across the face.

“You’re upset. I shouldn’t have left like that. I know. Things got… complicated.” He motioned to his drenched attire.

***

Again, If you love mystery, dark romance, unhinged/ morally grey characters, crazy unpredictable plot twists, Gillian Flynn sort of novels with romance in it, then I think you will LOVE ‘Ophelia’. I actually cried writing it because I love one of the male love interest so damn much and -well- it’s a lot to explain. And I genuinely believe you will enjoy the crazy ride of that storyline! You just read the prologue, here’s the completed story!

Hello 🙂 i have a question regarding the bonus chapters. Will they be included in the printed book? Or will Finny get his own book. Or is the second book about him because you said it is going to be a duology?

I’m here for the dual pov because i loved both povs and i think it added more flavour to the book (even though the book was already perfect ;))

Bookcover vise i would say no people on the cover. Rather a simple cover with the book title and some design.

Lastly i would like to say i love fatal alliances, i reread so many times and i will always come back to it because it is my favorite book <3

Hi Celine! Congrats on this accomplishment of soon to publish FA!!
I think that dual povs would be great as its always interesting to read Adrian’s perspective.
I think in terms of more in the novel, there’s already so much that makes it complete, but maybe of background on the other characters or more of Adrian’s pov as we see so much of Juliette’s and how she interacts etc. (idk, honestly the entire novel has been perfect since day one of reading it, so I’m happy with whatever).
For the cover of the book, maybe something dark like, but over all simple.
Also, where would we be able to purchase a copy of the novel, and are you planning on doing different covers, like one for paper back and a fancy one for hardcover?

Anyways, Congrats and Happy New Year!
